Nicely preserved vintage "Green" Monkey taxidermy mount. This small African monkey is in a hanging pose with one arm up to grab a branch of the natural wood base. The hair has an orange and yellow coloring - common to some members of this species. The face is dark and in a relaxed, natural expression. This would be an exceptional addition for the trophy room, cabin, museum or oddities collection. These monkey are very rare as taxidermy mounts.

The green monkey, also known as the sabaeus monkey, is an Old World monkey with golden-green fur and pale hands and feet. The tip of the tail is often golden yellow as are the backs of the thighs and cheek whiskers.
