This beautiful Scaled Quail is perched on a natural wooden branch made to hand on the wall. The bird’s head is tilted slightly to its left with a quizzical look on its face. As the name of the bird implies, the gray feathers that cover its chest overlap with each other like scales. These beautiful feathers are prominently displayed by the positioning of the bird on its branch. The rest of the mount is covered in beautiful dark brown feathers.
