This stag shoulder mount features a large set of 19 point antlers - what one might call a whole lot of "trash." That terms seems a bit harsh given the beauty of this stag's rack. The animal's coat is a deep, reddish brown which transitions to dark brown on his face. The animal is posed in a semi-sneak pose with its nose pointed to its right but with its eyes looking to its left - a very realistic and lifelike pose. We have evaluated this piece at a taxidermy quality rating of Excellent. There are certainly larger stags out there but this one, an archery take, is still quite beautiful.
