This majestic Greater Kudu shoulder mount is quite large and beautifully colored in a lovely palette of tan, brown and white. He has been posed with his head up and turned slightly to his left. The detailing of the face and ears is very nice. He does have a few battle scars. Due to the age of this mount and the battle scars, it has been rated as Cabin Grade. It is still a nice mount but not on par with modern taxidermy. Here's a value-priced classic African hunting trophy for your home, office, or restaurant decor.

About the Kudu
Scientific Name: Tragelaphus strepsiceros
The greater kudu is a woodland antelope found throughout eastern and southern Africa. Despite occupying such widespread territory, they are sparsely populated in most areas due to declining habitat, deforestation, and poaching.
