This Prairie Chicken hen has been captured in a calm pose, perched on a small branch. The prairie chicken population has reduced significantly over the last few decades. As a result, we rarely get taxidermy mounts. The taxidermy on this mount is very good. This piece has earned our taxidermy quality rating of Excellent and would make a great addition to any room featuring North American mounts or an upland game bird collection. Pair this mount with our male prairie chicken "booming," product #KG3055.
