Awesome Aoudad half-body taxidermy mount. Posed upright and alert with the head facing slightly to his right. Very nice hair and fringe in an almost brindle coloring. Great detailing. Heavy horns with 11" bases, measuring 25.75" on the left and 25.875" on the right. The distance from horn tip to horn tip is 22". This beautiful animal will make a unique addition to the collection of exotic mounts.

Scientific Name: Ammotragus lervia
The Barbary sheep or aoudad is a species of caprid native to rocky mountains in North Africa. Six subspecies have been described. Although it is rare in its native North Africa, it has been introduced to North America, southern Europe, and elsewhere.
