Alaska Moose Antler Shed BK6209

BK6209

cabin lodge decor for sale safariworksLooking for the perfect piece for the fireplace mantle or as a tabletop piece? This small Alaska moose antler shed is perfect. One side is darkly colored showing the intricacy of veining in the paddle while the other side, having had more exposure to the sun, is a much lighter shade. As this antler grew, it developed a "blowout," sometimes the result of an injury to the antler while the moose is in velvet. This shed sat out in the wild long enough to be gnawed on by a critter or two (see photos) so we have given it our quality rating of Fair.

  • Product Rating: Fair
