This big bull Gemsbok shoulder mount has been posed with its head straight forward on an attractive espresso-colored pedestal. He has an average pair of horns, with some brooming on his left horn, and great detailing throughout. His coat is a lovely combination of browns, black, and white. The animal has a relaxed expression. It has a taxidermy quality rating of Fair due to the brooming on his left horn and some visible stitching. (See photos)

Scientific Name: Oryx gazella
The gemsbok, gemsbuck or South African oryx is a large antelope in the genus Oryx. It is native to the arid regions of Southern Africa, such as the Kalahari Desert. Some authorities formerly included the East African oryx as a subspecies.
